Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: May 2026

1. Seller identification

The owner of the vovocorp.com store

Contact and support email: calculadora@vovocorp.com. Hereinafter, "VovoCorp".

2. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of products through vovocorp.com, primarily VovoCorp's scientific calculator with artificial intelligence and its accessories. By placing an order, the customer accepts these conditions in full.

The store is aimed exclusively at end consumers. The purchase of products for resale or distribution purposes is subject to the conditions and prohibitions set out in section 2 bis.

2 bis. Prohibition of unauthorized resale

The vovocorp.com store is aimed exclusively at end consumers (B2C sale). It is expressly prohibited to purchase products for resale, distribution, marketing to third parties or any commercial exploitation, whether individually or in volume, without having previously signed a written distribution or resale agreement with VovoCorp.

By completing the purchase, the customer declares that they are acquiring the product(s) for their own personal use or that of a third party, and not for resale. VovoCorp reserves the right to:

  • Cancel and take legal action on any order where there are reasonable indications of unauthorized resale (for example, recurring orders of multiple units, accounts associated with detected commercial activity, or an express request from the buyer);
  • Reject future orders from customers who have breached this clause;
  • Take any legal action that may be appropriate in the event of unauthorized resale that causes harm to VovoCorp, its brand image or its commercial network.

Anyone interested in distributing, reselling or marketing the product must first get in touch with calculadora@vovocorp.com to negotiate and sign a specific distribution/resale agreement, which will govern the applicable conditions, prices, volumes, territory and other applicable commercial terms. No purchase made through the online store replaces or implies the existence of such agreement.

3. Products and prices

All prices shown on the website include applicable VAT. Shipping costs, if any, are shown itemized before completing the purchase.

VovoCorp reserves the right to change prices at any time, without this affecting orders already confirmed. In the event of an obvious typographical error in a product's price, VovoCorp will contact the customer to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it.

4. Purchase and payment process

To place an order, the customer must add the products to the cart, enter their shipping details and complete payment through the available methods (credit/debit card via Shopify Payments, PayPal or other methods offered at the time of purchase).

The contract is deemed concluded at the moment the customer receives the order confirmation email. If an order cannot be fulfilled due to lack of stock or another reason, VovoCorp will inform the customer.

5. Shipping and delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer. The estimated delivery time is shown on the product page, together with its assembly time, and during the purchase process. Since each unit is assembled and programmed to order, the manufacturing and shipping time will be clearly indicated before completing the purchase.

Upon receiving the order, the customer is advised to check the condition of the package. In the event of visible transport damage, they must report it to calculadora@vovocorp.com within a maximum of 72 hours, attaching photographs, so the incident can be handled with the carrier.

6. Cancellation and refund

Each VovoCorp calculator is individually manufactured, assembled and programmed to order. As long as the order has not entered production, the customer can cancel it at any time by writing to calculadora@vovocorp.com with their order number.

In that case, VovoCorp will refund 100% of the amount paid, with no cost or penalty whatsoever, using the same payment method and immediately after confirming the cancellation. The time it takes for the refund to appear in the customer's account depends on their bank (usually between 1 and 3 days).

7. Made-to-order and customized product: right of withdrawal after production begins

In accordance with Article 103.a) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.

The VovoCorp calculator is a product handmade, assembled, programmed and configured individually for each order. For this reason, once the order has entered production, it cannot be cancelled or returned by withdrawal, and no refund will be issued on this basis.

VovoCorp will inform the customer, through the order status or by email, of the moment the order enters production. By completing the purchase, the customer expressly acknowledges and accepts that the product is made to order and that, once production has begun, they waive their right of withdrawal under the aforementioned Article 103.a).

Before that moment, the customer retains in any case the right to cancel with a full refund as set out in section 6.

The above does not affect the customer's rights arising from the legal warranty of conformity (section 8) should the product be defective.

8. Legal warranty of conformity, remedial measures and technical service

8.1. All products sold by VovoCorp carry the legal warranty of conformity of 3 years from delivery, in accordance with Articles 114 et seq. of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (as amended by RDL 7/2021). This clause governs the exercise of that warranty and the order in which the legally established remedial measures apply, without prejudice to the non-waivable rights that consumer protection law grants to the consumer.

8.2. Where a lack of conformity is established that is not attributable to misuse of the goods, conformity will be restored through repair or replacement on the legal terms. Given the nature of the product — a good handmade, assembled, programmed and configured individually to order (section 7) — replacement may be objectively disproportionate because it would impose unreasonable costs on VovoCorp compared with repair; for this reason, the remedial measure that will generally apply is repair of the goods at VovoCorp's technical facilities, at no cost to the customer and with VovoCorp bearing the corresponding shipping costs. Replacement of the goods will apply where repair is impossible or fails to restore conformity. A price reduction and termination of the contract with a refund are subsidiary remedies that will only apply in the cases established by law, once repair and replacement have been exhausted or are unfeasible. Consequently, the mere existence of a lack of conformity does not by itself give rise to a right to a refund, without prejudice to what may result from the application of the legal regime described above.

8.3. To exercise the warranty, the customer must send a communication to calculadora@vovocorp.com stating the order number, a sufficiently precise description of the fault, the circumstances of its appearance and, where applicable, photographic or video material documenting it. VovoCorp may request that preliminary remote diagnostic checks be carried out (verification of power supply and charging, restarting the device, updating the official firmware or other similar checks) aimed at ruling out causes unrelated to the product, after which it will provide the customer with instructions for shipping the unit. The repair time will be adjusted to the nature of the goods and their individual manufacturing process, and will be communicated to the customer once receipt of the unit is confirmed.

8.4. Excluded from the legal warranty, as they do not constitute a lack of conformity of origin, are damage and faults arising from: a) misuse or use contrary to the instructions in the manual; b) impacts, falls, mechanical pressure, contact with liquids, humidity or corrosion; c) opening, disassembly, internal tampering with or repair of the device by unauthorized third parties; d) installation of unofficial firmware or modification of the device's software; e) normal wear of consumables, including the progressive degradation of the battery and the keyboard membrane inherent to use; f) use of unsuitable chargers or power supplies, power surges or exposure to extreme temperatures; g) cosmetic damage that does not prevent the goods from working. The occurrence of any of these circumstances, as determined through technical examination of the unit, will result in the free-of-charge regime provided for in section 8.2 not applying.

8.5. For the cases excluded under section 8.4, VovoCorp makes available to the customer a chargeable repair service during the 3 years following delivery of the product. In such cases, the transport costs for the goods, both outbound and return shipping, will be borne entirely by the customer; once the unit is received, VovoCorp will issue a prior quote, express acceptance of which will be a requirement for the repair to be carried out. If the quote is not accepted, the customer will only be required to pay the cost of shipping the unit back.

8.6. The additional commercial warranty VovoCare, taken out voluntarily and for a fee together with the product, covers unit replacement for 1 year in cases of accidental damage (drops, liquid spills, screen breakage) in accordance with its own terms, and in no case limits or replaces the rights that the legal warranty grants to the consumer. Incidents arising from transport will be governed by the provisions of section 5.

9. Artificial intelligence service

The VovoCorp calculator includes artificial intelligence features that require a WiFi connection and linking the device to a user account. Each calculator includes a free usage plan for the AI service. Optional paid plans (such as the Pro plan) are governed by the terms indicated at the time of purchase, including their own 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase.

VovoCorp works to keep the service continuously available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of the AI service, which depends on connectivity providers and third parties. The device's scientific calculator functions work offline.

10. Use of the product and liability

The VovoCorp calculator includes a lithium battery. The customer must follow the safety instructions included in the manual: do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, do not puncture or tamper with the battery, and use suitable chargers.

The customer is responsible for their use of the product. VovoCorp is not liable for use of the device in contexts where its use is prohibited (for example, official exams whose rules do not allow programmable calculators or calculators with connectivity). It is the user's responsibility to check the applicable rules in each case.

Responses generated by the artificial intelligence may contain errors. The AI service is a support tool and does not replace the user's verification of the results.

11. Intellectual and industrial property

All content on vovocorp.com (text, images, videos, logos, design) and the firmware and software associated with the product are owned by VovoCorp or its licensors. Their reproduction, distribution or alteration without express authorization is prohibited. The purchase of the product grants a license to use the firmware and the associated service, not ownership of them.

12. Data protection

The processing of customers' personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the LOPDGDD.

13. Amendment of the conditions

VovoCorp may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The conditions applicable to each order will be those in force at the time it is placed.

14. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute with consumers, the courts of the consumer's domicile will have jurisdiction.

The customer may send any complaint to calculadora@vovocorp.com. They may also turn to the consumer affairs services of their autonomous community, the Consumer Arbitration Boards, or accredited alternative dispute resolution entities in consumer matters.

15. "Free Premium" referral programme

Every customer who buys a VovoCorp calculator receives a personal code, available in the VovoCorp app. Anyone who buys a calculator with that code gets a €10 discount on their order, applied in the currency they pay in.

Premium forever. The code holder gets the app's Premium plan free of charge and with no end date when one of these two conditions is met: (a) a first person buys a calculator with their code; or (b) they post a video on a social network showing the VovoCorp calculator working, submit it from the app and VovoCorp approves it. The video must stay published: VovoCorp checks it periodically and, if it is removed, Premium is suspended after 7 days until it is published again. By submitting the video, the customer authorises VovoCorp to use it, in whole or in part, in its advertising.

€20 for every friend. From the second person who buys with their code onwards, the code holder receives, for each one, a €20 refund on the amount of their own calculator order, to the same payment method they used. Each refund is processed 30 days after the friend's purchase and once verified by VovoCorp. The total of the refunds cannot exceed the amount the code holder paid for that order.

A purchase only counts if it is paid and not cancelled or returned; if it is cancelled or returned, it generates no reward and any reward already granted for it is withdrawn. Purchases made by the code holder themselves or with their details do not count. VovoCorp may cancel the code and the rewards in the event of fraudulent or abusive use. The programme's amounts are expressed in euros and are applied converted into the order's currency. VovoCorp may modify or end the programme at any time; rewards already granted will be honoured.
